Day 124: The Day Before

Another day…another day before! I am feeling ok about tomorrow. I have to weight in later in the afternoon so I can hopefully make my doctors appointment downtown Seattle…Thanks Xi for totally jacking traffic for 3 whole days. I thought that was why helicopters were invented…to fly people around instead of driving?

I made some progress today on our kitchen and insurance claim thanks to the help of some wonderful people. I got a lot of work done today and made it to my 7:30 yoga class after an on-plan day! Today was rather boring and somewhat normal. I used another food package that my mom and I prepped over the weekend and it was again a nice mix up to my normal routine. I added some sautéed mirepoix to my 30/10 Cream of Tomato soup and it was great! For those of you who are not in the know, mirepoix is “a roughly chopped vegetable cut, usually a mixture of onions, carrots, and celery. Mirepoix, raw, roasted or sautéed with butter or olive oil, is the flavor base for a wide variety of dishes, such as stocks, soups, stews and sauces.” (thanks Wikipedia). How my mom knew what it was is still dumbfounding. We swapped out carrots for red peppers to make that a totally on-plan mix then packed them in the Food Saver and froze them! Totally mixed up my usually routine of Sloppy Joe’s on lettuce.

I am little nervous about weight in later in the day. My normal time is 9am and on those days I shower and head to 30/10. Now I will have the whole day for my fat to soak up anything I eat and that scares the shit out of me. My goal is to be down 2.0 pounds tomorrow…that extra time better not screw with my scale! We shall see…when the bell rings 3pm the truth will be told!
