I did not meet my goal Thursday but I got close! I was down 1.6 pounds…just .4 pounds shy of my 2 pound goal. But I successfully completed my first 15 weeks with 30/10 and I released 39 pounds total! My BMI came down by 6 points, I lost 5% of my body fat and of the 39 pounds I released 34 of them were pure FAT! Those are all GREAT results. I have signed up for my next 15 weeks and have a goal of releasing 41 pounds in that time. That will mean that by Christmas I will have released 80 pounds. That will put me only 20 pounds away from my goal of release 100 pounds. I will have to average 2.7 pounds a week to reach that goal and it is going to be a CHALLENGE to make that happen over the football and holiday season. We have two vacations planned…some football games thrown in the mix…and lots and lots of birthdays and celebrations. It is going to take some monumental will power and strength to make this happen.
Sometimes it is hard for me to feel or see the progress being made. At 30/10 they take before and after pictures and I am thankful for that. I made sure I wore the same outfit for the after photos 🙂 I am going to have him take new before pics next week to mark my new round of 15 weeks…better outfit of course!
BEFORE! May 19, 2015
AFTER! September 10, 2015
I like how consistent my hair style is…low messy bun. It’s SO in right now. I do seem to be more “narrow” and I can really see it in my face. I just look smaller overall. That’s a good thing…that WAS the goal 😉 I also took one for the Nordstroms team today and picked up a few items in smaller sizes. When your yoga pants wont stay up in yoga anymore its time for some smaller pants. So the results are starting to show…one or two smaller sizes at a time.
Football kicks off this weekend…Sunday at 10 am the Seahawks play the Rams. Usually these Sundays would have a big huge breakfast of pancakes, eggs, and sausages. This Sunday’s food lineup will feature some cereal and a protein shake. That should be interesting…I am going to have to write “CHOICE” on my forehead. This is a choice…I am choosing to not eat certain foods for a while. My delicious football treats are not off limits forever…just for a while. I wonder if my addiction will get the memo? GO HAWKS!
